Agreement Between the Los Santos Police Department and the Human Resources Division

This Agreement is made on 7/20/2024, by and between the Los Santos Police Department (hereinafter referred to as "LSPD") and the Human Resources Division (hereinafter referred to as "HR").

Purpose The purpose of this Agreement is to establish that all police cadets must be trained exclusively by the Los Santos Police Department and to outline the requirements that each Field Training Officer (FTO) within the LSPD must meet in order to participate in the training of these cadets.

Terms and Conditions

  1. Exclusive Training Responsibility

    • All training of police cadets shall be conducted solely by the Los Santos Police Department. No external or third-party entities shall be involved in the training process.

  2. Field Training Officer Requirements

    • Each Field Training Officer (FTO) within the LSPD must complete the following requirements to be eligible to train police cadets:

      • Required to be in Human Resources: This is solely for the purpose of the Human Resources Database that stores all hosted trainings within Auspire Roleplay.

      • Training Program: FTOs must complete the LSPD-approved Field Training Officer program, which includes both classroom instruction and practical field exercises.

      • Performance Review: FTOs must undergo a performance review conducted by the LSPD Training Division to ensure they meet the necessary standards and qualifications.

      • Continuous Education: FTOs must participate in ongoing education and training programs to stay current with law enforcement best practices and techniques.

  3. Field Training Officer (FTO) Program and Human Resources Integration

    • When an officer from the Los Santos Police Department (LSPD) applies and is accepted into the Field Training Officer (FTO) program, they will be automatically granted acceptance into the Human Resources (HR) department. This policy ensures that FTOs, who are integral to training and mentoring new recruits, have a seamless transition and access to additional HR resources and support. This integration not only enhances their ability to train effectively but also provides them with broader organizational insights and professional development opportunities within the LSPD.

  4. Advanced Specialized Trainings

    • As agreed by both Human Resources and the Los Santos Police Department, all Advanced Specialized Trainings created by the Human Resources will remain under the division. Any LSPD FTO must become certified in Human Resources within a specific advanced specialized class.

  5. Use of Human Resources Portal

    • All FTOs of the Los Santos Police Department must become familiar with utilizing the HR Portal for inputting hosted trainings through the department. This is to ensure all trainings are recorded through the community system.

  6. Oversight and Compliance

    • The LSPD Training Division shall be responsible for overseeing the compliance of FTOs with the above-stated requirements.

    • HR shall collaborate with the LSPD to ensure that all administrative aspects of the training process are managed efficiently and effectively.

  7. Duration and Termination

    • This Agreement shall remain in effect until terminated by mutual consent of both parties.

    • Either party may terminate this Agreement with a 30-day written notice to the other party.

  8. Amendments

    • Any amendments to this Agreement must be made in writing and signed by authorized representatives of both parties.
